12th Exam passed student can participate in this All India Level competition.
Previous years 1st and 2nd prize winners of this competition are not eligible to participate in this competition.
The competition will be held in Marathi, Hindi and English. The participant can speak in one language and speak on any one topic mentioned in the list.
Time allotted for each participant is 8 (6+2) minutes.
Entry fee for each team is Rs. 300/- however in case of the single student registration, the entry fee is Rs. 200/- It is obligatory to deposit the entry fee at the time of registration.
Maximum age limit for participant will be 25 years.
Every college can send one team of two students for each language. Besides, individual participation through respective college will be considered. The entries must reach the Central Office of the MVP Samaj by 15th January, 2020 till 5 p.m.
Participants must carry their college Identity Cards of A.Y. 2019 – 20. Besides, they have to furnish Adhar Card or School Leaving Certificate or PAN Card or Passport or Matriculation Passing Certificate as a proof for date of birth.
Lodging and boarding facility will be provided to the participants on all the three days. Separate arrangement will be made for girl-student and boy-students.
The participants will be given serial number identity card before the competition. The anchor will announce the number randomly and participant will have to speak after showing the Identity Card.
The first merit-based twenty participants will have to participate in the extempore competition. First three Prizes and language-wise First & Second Prizes will be awarded on the basis of the marks obtained in both the competitions. Participant's performance in the main round will also be considered for the three Special Prizes recommanded by the Judges.
MVP Karandak (Trophy) will be awarded permanently to the team on the basis of the combined/consolidated marks obtained by both the participants of the team. All participants will be given participation certificate at the end of competition.
The decision of the Judges and Organizing Committee will be final and binding. Organizing Committee reserves the right to make Changes in the structure and schedule of the competition at the eleventh hour.
